Negative Declaration

Albany County - The New York State University Construction Fund (NYS UCF), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Installation of a Duct Bank at State University of New York (SUNY) Albany will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a new buried electrical duct bank on the Harriman State Office Campus to run south from an existing New York State Office of General Services (NYS OGS) substation between the inner and outer ring access roads on the northwest side of Harriman State Office Complex, then northwest across the New York State Police/New York State Emergency Management Office property to the vicinity of the Life Sciences Building on the SUNY Albany Campus. This new duct bank will improve reliability of existing electrical and telecommunications connections on the University Campus as well as serve future SUNY Albany expansion on the Harriman Campus, including the proposed Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship Complex (E-TEC) building. The project is located on the western portion of the NYS OGS Harriman State Office Campus in the City of Albany, New York.
