Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a new single family home on Lot 11 of Oran Gulf Road, 1/2 mile north on the west side of Rt 20. Final grading, a small portion of the construction and the septic system will encroach into adjacent area of NYS Wetland ORA-10 and have minimal temporary impacts.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes an existing discharge of 2,550 gpd of treated sanitary wastewater to an intermittent c class stream from a septic tank and sand filter at Seneca Hills Apartments in the town of Volney.

The Department has made a tentative determination to re-issue a SPDES permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law. This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statue is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify Department approval or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.
