Negative Declaration

Livingston County - The Livingston County Water and Sewer Authority (LCWSA), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Groveland Water Main Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by LCWSA for the installation of new water main service to the Groveland Correctional Facility as well as other potential users within the vicinity of the main. The proposed project will include approximately 71,000 linear feet of new main and associated appurtenances (valves, hydrants, etc.) in the Town of Groveland and Conesus; upsizing the main east of the Village of Livonia in the Town of Livonia; improvements to pump stations (Hemlock, Shelly Road and Sliker Hill); and a new water storage tank in the vicinity of Groveland Hill Road and Aten Road. All work will take place within the existing road right-of-way or on lands owned/controlled by LCWSA. The project is located at various locations in the Village of Livonia, Town of Groveland, Town of Conesus and Town of Livonia, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Yates County - The Town of Middlesex Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Komarek Major Subdivision. The Final EIS is available from the Town of Middlesex Town Hall, 1216 Route 245, Middlesex, NY 14507 and on line at:

The action involves a 4 lot major subdivision of a property with steep slopes located in the Lake Residential (LR) District. The project involves the creation of 4 lots for single family development along with the construction of a private road to access each of the residences. The project requires major subdivision approval, as well as numerous variance, site plan review and a special use permit from the Town of Middlesex Zoning Board of Appeals for the construction of the private road in the LR District. The project is located on East Lake Road in the Town of Middlesex, New York.
