Negative Declaration

Greene County - The Town of Windham Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hensonville Water Improvements and Windham Water Interconnection Project Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves plans to expand the Hensonville Water Improvement Project northward on State Route 296 and replace an additional 2,800 linear feet of deteriorating cast iron water mains and construct 400 linear feet of new water main in order to consolidate the Hotel Vienna public water supply into the Hensonville water system. The replacement water lines will be constructed within the same trench as the original water lines, and the new water line will be constructed between the edge of pavement and the far edge of the excavated ditch.

The Town of Windham Town Board, Acting as Lead Agency, issued an Amended Negative Declaration on February 11, 2016 stating that the proposed project expansion will have no significant adverse impacts.

The project is located on State Route 296 in the Hamlet of Hensonville, Town of Windham, New York.
