The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Remedial Investigation Work Plan from Stewart Avenue Ventures, LLC for a site known as the 30 Stewart Ave Site, site ID #C152243. This site is located in the Town of Huntington, within the County of Suffolk, and is located at 30 Stewart Avenue. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than March 11, 2016. A copy of the application, Remedial Investigation Work Plan and other relevant documents are available at the document repository located at the Huntington Public Library, 338 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Establishment of Bistro Classification will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a new classification by the Town of Huntington for food service uses that will fall between Restaurants and Food Shops in land use intensity. Bistros will be classified as restaurants that have a maximum gross floor area of 2,500 square feet and a seating maximum of 1 seat per 65 square feet of gross floor area. Drive-through service windows are not allowed and minimal area for packaged goods sales will be allowed. The parking requirement will be the same as for Food Shops and Retail land uses. Bistros will be allowed in any zoning district where restaurants are allowed. The project is located throughout the Town of Huntington, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Jay Bialsky Lot Line Modification will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed Lot Line Modification Map for two properties totaling 291,495 square feet or 6.69 acres located in the R-120 Zoning District and situated within the Agricultural Overlay District and the New York State Archeologically Sensitive areas. The lot line modification will transfer 20,072 square feet from Lot 1 to Lot 2, resulting in Lot 1 containing 174,240 square feet and Lot 2 containing 117,255 square feet, both lots will continue to front on Quimby Lane. The project is located at 158 and 194 Quimby Lane in the Hamlet of Bridgehampton, Town of Southampton, New York.
