Negative Declaration

Cattaraugus County - The Little Valley Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Revised Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a revised Zoning Law, including revisions to both the text and zoning map. Changes to the text include revisions to the definitions, land use table, and administration and enforcement provisions; expansion of provisions in the Supplementary Regulations, including new regulations regarding keeping of horses and keeping of chickens; and the addition of the authority to conduct site plan review. Changes to the zoning map include the elimination of the agricultural-residential district and the creation of two new residential zoning districts, a public recreation district, a business district and an industrial district, to supplement the districts that were previously mapped. The project is located throughout the Village of Little Valley, New York.

Wyoming County - The Village of Arcade, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Arcade Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of the existing Arcade WWTF from 0.5 MGD to 0.75 MGD. The work involves the installation of a third contact stabilization tank, related piping, rehabilitation of the existing stabilization tanks, replacement of selective process equipment, repairs and improvements to the existing buildings and the construction of two additions on the existing sludge storage buildings. The project is located on Hurdville Road in the Village of Arcade, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Chautauqua County - The Town of Arkwright, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Arkwright Summit Wind Farm. The Final EIS is available from the Town of Arkwright Town Hall, 9543 Center Road, Fredonia, NY 14063 and on line at: http://www.edprnorthamerica.com/farms/regulatory-permitting-information.

The action involves the proposed Arkwright Summit Wind Farm, a wind energy generation facility that will include 36 wind turbines, with a total anticipated nameplate generating capacity of 78.4 megawatts (MW). The largest wind turbines presently being considered for the project are the Vestas V-110 wind turbines, which have a total height of 150 meters (492 feet). In addition to the turbines, the project includes construction and operation of 1 permanent meteorological tower, approximately 12.4 miles of gravel access roads, approximately 18 miles of underground (buried) electrical collection lines and communication cables, an operations and maintenance (O&M) facility, an overhead Generator Lead line up to 5.9 miles long, and a substation and associated point of interconnection (POI) switchyard. In addition to the permanent components of the project, the project will require a temporary laydown yard and construction work space. The project is located in the Town of Arkwright, New York.
