Negative Declaration

Westchester County - The Town of New Castle Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chappaqua Crossing B-RO-20 and MFPD PDCP Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law amending the B-RO-20 regulations to permit the adaptive reuse of the 200 (Cupola) Building for multifamily residential use (including the construction of 28 Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing [AFFH] Units, as well as workforce housing and market rate units), modify the floor area provisions of the Office Park Retail Overlay District regulations, and provide certain exceptions for Model Ordinance AFFH Units. Revisions to the approved Multifamily Planned Development Preliminary Development Concept Plan to remove the 20 AFFH Units in the two 2 story multifamily buildings and replace the buildings with market rate townhouses, as well as associated reconfiguration of buildings. The project is located at 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua, Town of New Castle, New York.

The action involves revisions to the Office Park Retail Overlay District Planning Development Concept Plan approved by the Town Board on May 12, 2015 regarding adjustments to building configurations, and changes to the approved traffic mitigation measures. The project is located at 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua, Town of New Castle, New York.
