Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Clarkson Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brook Field at Clarkson will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed development of a quality mixed-use community denominated Brook Field at Clarkson, to include the construction of senior housing, luxury apartments and commercial space, in three phases.

Phase I, fronting on East Avenue, is proposed to offer high end senior housing, including 8 two-unit duplex buildings and a 89 unit senior apartment building, together with garage and surface parking.

Phase II, along Sweden Walker Road is proposed to be developed as luxury market rate apartments consisting of 12 two-unit villas and 6 sixteen unit apartment buildings together with a community center, which will offer high end amenities such as a pool, fitness center, event meeting space, business center and garage and surface parking to be provided.

Phase III, fronts on Ridge Road and is proposed to included five (5) Mixed use buildings, each with 8 apartments and 6,000 square feet of commercial space (for a total of 30,000 square feet of commercial, office or retail space) of which two commercial buildings will be constructed during the construction of Phase I of this project.

The project is located on East Avenue, Sweden Walker Road and Ridge Road in the Town of Clarkson, New York.
