Public Notice

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency (OCIDA) for a site known as 800 Hiawatha Boulevard West (former Roth Steel), site ID #C734083. This site is located in the City of Syracuse, within the County of Onondaga, and is located at 800 Hiawatha Blvd West. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than January 15, 2016. A copy of the application and other relevant documents are available at the document repository located at Onondaga County Public Library, Robert P. Kinchen Central Library, The Galleries of Syracuse, 447 South Salina Street, Syracuse, NY. Negative Declaration

Broome County - The Village of Johnson City Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Regan Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the conversion of two existing vacant buildings, the Century Building and the Sunrise Building, into multiple dwellings and commercial use. The total number of apartments is 104, distributed as follows: 44 one bedroom; 56 two bedroom and 4 three bedroom. The commercial area will be 7,745 square feet; use is to be determined but anticipated to be office or medical use. The project is located at 135 to 139 Baldwin Street in the Village of Johnson City, New York.
