Amendment to the 2007 Interim Recreation Management Plan for Big Moose Tract Conservation Easement, Lyme Adirondack Timberlands

The amendment to the February 2007 Interim Recreation Management Plan (IRMP) for the Lyme Adirondack Timberlands Conservation Easement (CE) Big Moose Tract allows for use of the trail to the summit of Stillwater Mountain, the tower and area immediately surrounding the tower year round, with the exception of the period from the second Tuesday in October through December 20th of each year. The 2007 IRMP only allowed use from May 1st through and including the second Monday in October of each year. No other amendments are being made to the 2007 IRMP.

The Lyme Adirondack Timberlands Conservation Easement (CE) Big Moose Tract is located in the Town of Webb, Herkimer County, New York.

Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Village of Lowville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Lowville Improvements and Street Reconstruction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the full depth reconstruction of Stow Street, River Street, Shady Avenue, Trinity Avenue and Park Avenue in the Village of Lowville, New York, (about 15,500 linear feet) and the replacement of existing sanitary sewer and water mains within these street corridors. Additionally, the laterals/services for these utilities will be replaced in place to the existing street margin. A storm sewer will be installed to separate sanitary waste and storm water runoff.
