Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment - Removing Residential Uses from Community Facilities (CF) District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a text amendment to remove all residential uses from the Community Facilities (CF) zoning district: adult care facility, hospice, intermediate care facility, nursing home, residential care center for adults and senior citizen housing. These uses are permitted in the Multi-Family Residential District Seven (MFR-7) and will remain in that district. The project is located in the Town of Amherst, New York.

Negative Declaration - Correction

Wyoming County - The Castile Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the Silver Lake Institute Water System Improvements (Castile Water District #1) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 6,300 lineal feet of 8 inch water mains along Standpipe Road (Village of Perry), South Main Street (Village of Perry), and NY Route 39, Camp Road and Chapman Avenue (Town of Castile). The project also includes construction of a booster pump station on Standpipe Road in the Village of Perry and meter/pressure reducing valves and other appurtenances. The purpose of this project is to loop water service and provide improved water pressure and fire fighting ability within the Silver Lake Institute Water District.

Prior to the issuance of public funding for this project, the Town will complete coordination and studies required by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

The project is located in the Town of Castile and Village of Perry, New York.
