Findings Statements for the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Belleayre Mountain Ski Center Unit Management Plan and the Modified Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park

On December 2, 2015, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (6 NYCRR Part 617), issued separate finding statements and permits for the Modified Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park and the Belleayre Mountain Ski Center Unit Management Plan.

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pinebrook Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction and in-kind replacement of an existing wastewater treatment plant serving the Pinebrook Part - County Sewer District #7. The project is located at 225 Pinebrook Drive in Hyde Park, New York.

Ulster County - The Village of New Paltz Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Goodwill Church Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the conversion of a locally landmarked property that was formerly a restaurant to a religious use, including by providing an easement for parking on the immediately adjacent parcel to the north. The project is located at : 16 North Chestnut Street / NYS Route 32 in the Village of New Paltz, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Westchester County - The Town of Greenburgh Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed JPI - The Jefferson at Saw Mill Site Plan and Related Applications may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on January 13, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Greenburgh Town Hall Auditorium, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh, NY 10607. The action involves the construction of a new four (4) story, 239,163 square foot, 272 unit multifamily residential building, off-street parking, landscaping and related amenities. The property consists of approximately 469,192 square foot (10.77 acres) and is located in the GI General Industrial District at 2 Lawrence Street in the Town of Greenburgh, New York
