Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Village of Williamsville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Drive Thru Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Local Law to amend Chapter 112 (Zoning) to eliminate Drive-In Service Facilities (a/k/a Drive Thrus) as a permitted use within the Village. Existing Drive-In Service Facilities may continue to operate as a non-conforming use. The project is located throughout the Village of Williamsville, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final GEIS

Erie County - The City of Buffalo Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Gates Circle Redevelopment. The Final GEIS is available from the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, 633 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222 and on line at: www.gatescirclebuffalo.com.

The Gates Circle Redevelopment (Project) is the former Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital (MFG Hospital) property located at 3 Gates Circle and the City-owned parking ramp located at 1277 Delaware Avenue in the City of Buffalo, New York (Site). The Project will include a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). The remainder of the Site will be redeveloped with residential rental units, for-sale townhomes and condominiums, office space, retail space, a market, and a large health and wellness center. A new street aligned with Lancaster Avenue, which currently ends at Delaware Avenue, will be extended eastward through the Site and connect to Linwood Avenue (Lancaster Extension). A connector road will also be constructed between this new street and Lafayette Avenue (Lafayette Connector).
