Project Description:

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to renew State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) NY 0213276. This is a pre-existing Private/Commercial/Institutional SPDES permit. DEC has made a tentative determination to renew this permit and set a standard five year term. Proposed changes to the permit include the addition of Discharge Notification Act requirements and submittal of an annual report to the DEC. A monitoring locations page has been added and the General Requirements have been updated. This permit involves the surface discharge of 1,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to DeRuyter Lake, a class B water.

Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no adverse impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
