Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Orange County Legislature, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Blackburne Farm Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a horse and farm center consisting of outdoor and indoor arenas, horse stalls, trails, parking facilities and appurtenances located at the existing facility known as Blackburne Farm. The project is located on NYS Route 416 in the Town of Hamptonburgh, New York.

Westchester County - The Board of Education of the Port Chester-Rye United Free School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed School Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves various interior and exterior improvements to six of the District's schools, including an approximately 41,080 square foot 5th grade building addition to the Port Chester Middle School, and an approximately 59,483 square foot building addition to the Port Chester High School. The project is located within the Port Chester-Rye United Free School District in the Town of Rye, New York

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Westchester County - The Village of Mamaroneck Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hampshire Country Club Planned Residential Development may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted by the contact listed below until November 6, 2015. A public scoping session will be held on October 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mamaroneck Village Hall, 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. The draft Scoping document if available from the contact listed below; the Mamaroneck Public Library, 136 Prospect Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 and on line at: www.village.mamaroneck.ny.us.

The action involves a planned residential development on the 94.5 acre portion of the Hampshire Country Club located in the Village of Mamaroneck's R-20 zoning district. The proposed development would result in a total of 105 units on the subject property, consisting of 44 single-family residences and 61 townhouses. The existing membership club located on the Marine Residential (MR) zoned portion of the site (clubhouse, pool and parking) would remain, but the existing golf course would be replaced by the proposed homes. The project is located at 1025 Cove Road in the Village of Mamaroneck, New York.
