Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The East Pembroke Fire District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Fire Station will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new fire station and site improvements such as driveways, parking lots and storm water management facilities. The proposed driveway will access Barrett Drive. The project is located on the southeast corner of Barrett Drive and NYS Route 5 intersection in the Town of Batavia, New York.

Ontario County - The Town of South Bristol Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Everwilde Inn and Spa will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Everwilde Inn and Spa is proposed as an approximately 80,000 square foot inn and spa (approximately 95,000 square foot total with mechanical space) with associated site improvements and amenities. The site is a 45.7 acre property located on Seneca Point Road, just south of its intersection with Coye Road, in the Town of South Bristol, New York. The property extends from the Seneca Point Road frontage on the west to the shoreline of Canandaigua Lake on the east, with approximately 546 feet of Lake frontage. The proposal calls for rezoning the site to a Planned Development (PD) zoning district.

The inn and spa will be contained within a tri-level terraced structure. The upper level will contain a 75 seat restaurant and bar, a 25 seat café/bakery and a banquet and reception area that can accommodate up to 300 guests. The next level down will contain the approximately 18,000 square foot spa containing 18 treatment rooms. The inn will be located on the lowest level and is proposed to offer 50 rooms with an outdoor seating area and pool. A cart path, following an existing dirt/gravel road, will lead to the shoreline area of the site. A covered seating area with patio and restrooms will be located in a flat area here. A stairway/ramp system and mechanical lift will lead from the seating area to a docking facility (10 boat slips) along the Canandaigua Lake shoreline.
