Project Description:

The applicant is proposing disturbances to the regulated 100-foot adjacent area of NYS Freshwater Wetland G-6, Class I, in association with the repaving project for Barnes Lane. Disturbances to the regulated area of the wetland include the following: excavation (3-foot x 2-foot) along the edges of the road; filling the excavated areas with new subbase material; and improving the existing drainage structures where Barnes Lane crosses over an unnamed tributary of the Mamaroneck River [NYS Water Index #: LIS 8-12-2, Class C] with six new catch basins. The project is proposed between Lake Street and Purchase Street, the entirety of Barnes Lane.
