Negative Declaration

Livingston County - The Town of Avon Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pioneer Trucks Site Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of the current auto sales and service operations for Pioneer Trucks to the adjacent parcel located at 1620 West Henrietta Road in the Town of Avon, New York. The project also includes site lighting, drainage improvements and perimeter landscaping as described in the Site Plans dated May 12, 2015, last revised August 19, 2015.

Monroe County - The Town of Pittsford Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of the Former North Washington Drive-In Theatre Property aka Panorama Landing will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves rezoning to allow for office use of 19 + acres. The rezoning of the property will be from C-2 Commercial District to Incentive Zoning to allow for the construction of "mixed use development" office space. The project is located at North Washington Street (State Route 153) and Panorama Trail South in the Town of Pittsford, New York.

Monroe County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Genesee Land Trust - United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW) Wetland Habitat Improvement will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Genesee Land Trust, in partnership with USFW Service will restore wetland habitat through the construction of a series of channels (2,200 linear feet) and potholes (2 acres) to improve the habitat diversity within Salmon Creek. The project is located on the Salmon Creek just north of Parkway in the Town of Greece, New York.

Monroe County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW) Wetland Habitat Improvement - Buck Pond East will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), in partnership with USFW will restore wetland habitat through the construction of a series of channels (3,300 linear feet) and potholes (1.5 acres) to improve the habitat diversity within Buck Pond. The project is located on the eastern portion of Buck Pond in the Town of Greece, New York.

The action involves the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), in partnership with USFW will restore wetland habitat through the construction of approximately 3 acres of open water potholes to improve the habitat diversity within Long Pond. The project is located on Long Pond south of Lake Ontario Parkway in the Town of Greece, New York, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Yates County - The Town of Middlesex Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Komarek Major Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Middlesex Town Hall, 1216 Route 245, Middlesex, NY 14507. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until October 1, 2015. The Draft EIS is available from the Town of Middlesex Town Hall, 1216 Route 245, Middlesex, NY 14507 and on line at: www.middlesexny.org.

The action involves a 4 lot major subdivision of a property with steep slopes located within the Lake Residential (LR) District to include the creation of four (4) lots for single family residences, along with the construction of a private road to access each of the residences. The project requires major subdivision approval, as well as site plan review, and a special use permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for the construction of the private road in the LR District. The project is located on East Lake Road in the Town of Middlesex, New York.
