Project Description:

The applicant proposes to install 2 additional mooring buoys approximately 140' & 160' from shore in front of their property on Piseco Lake. The parcel currently has 4 moorings and a swim float permitted. The moorings need to be placed over 100' from shore due to shallow waters in the area. The project is located at 46 Golden Sands Road in the Town of Arietta.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

Project Description:

This project is the addition of a 1-megawatt (MW) fuel cell to an existing research and development facility. Emissions of Carbon Monoxide are capped at < or = 95 tons per yr. to stay out of Title V Permitting requirements. Emissions of Nickel compounds are capped at < or = 9.9 lbs./yr. to avoid 6 NYCRR Part 212-2 control requirements for High Toxic Compounds.
