The site currently contains two previously affected mining areas of less than one acre. No protected streams or wetlands are to be impacted. All drainage is to be internal. The application and project plans are available for review in the Cortland Office.

Project Description:

Applicant proposes to build a 282 foot long by 30 foot wide gravel roadway through NYS Freshwater Wetland CY-5 and its regulated adjacent area boundary. 1700 cubic yards of gravel will used from an existing gravel deposit within the proposed roadway path. An additional 400 cubic yards of stone will brought in to complete the roadway. Two culverts will be used to cross seasonal streams. The roadway will be used to access a log landing located outside of the wetland boundary. The project is located approximately 940 feet north of Turnpike Road on the western side of Laraway Rd.

(L) by 23 feet (H), and c) replacement of a deteriorating wood seawall, 196 linear ft. in length, with a steel sheet piling seawall.
