The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) is pursuing a Department Initiated Modification and renewal, with additional permittee-requested modification to the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit NY0001643 pursuant to 6NYCRR Part 750-1.18, NYS DEC's Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy. A Notice of Intent to Modify was published in the Environmental Notice Bulletin on 07/15/2015 at: http://www.dec.ny.gov/enb/20150715_reg8.html#826140020500137, with the public comment period ending on 08/14//2015. The public comment period will be extended until 09/14/2015.

Negative Declaration

Chemung County - The Chemung County Legislature as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Chemung County Local Solid Waste Management Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption by the County of Chemung of a Local Solid Waste Management Plan pursuant to the requirements of Section 27-0107 of the New York Environmental Conservation Law. The project is located throughout Chemung County, New York.

Schuyler County - The Schuyler County Legislature as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2014 Schuyler Countywide Comprehensive Plan - Cleaner Greener Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to the 2014 Schuyler County Comprehensive Plan that focuses on incorporating the principles of the NYSERDA Cleaner Greener Communities Program including improved alternative transportation and energy practices and the encouragement of the greater use of walkable and livable communities best practices, and continues to expand the policy framework developed in the Comprehensive Plan which include a framework for economic development, environmental sustainability, public health and safety, and the quality of life for residents of Schuyler County. The project is located throughout Schuyler County, New York.

Positive Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Palazzo Plaza may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an application for Incentive Zoning of all or part of four parcels, with a total project area of 10.1 acres, on the northeast side of Monroe Avenue, between Clover Street and the northbound access ramp of NYS Rt. 590, in the Town of Brighton, New York. The application proposes combining and redeveloping the parcels mentioned above as a specialty grocer, specialty coffee shop, community bank, and other community retail tenants. The redevelopment will result in the construction of approximately 90,000 square feet of retail space.
