Project Description:

Applicant proposes to elevate a single family dwelling on pilings for flood prevention purposes and install a new sanitary system. Clean fill will be added to raise the grade to four feet, tapering to meet the road. The project is adjacent to regulated freshwater wetland B-8. The project is located at 6 Anthony Street, East Patchogue, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, SCTM 200-981.3-4-2.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to install storm water drainage structures that will discharge to wetlands, and construct a bioretention basin. The project is part of improvements proposed for the roadway to reduce flooding. The proposed work is near regulated tidal wetlands associated with the Connectquot River. The storm water drainage will be directed to tidal wetlands and mitigated with treatment system(s). The project is located on Middlesex Avenue, Oakdale, Town of Islip, Suffolk County.
