Negative Declaration

Wayne County - The Town of Sodus, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Sodus Water District No. 11 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of plans for public water supply improvements in Water District No. 11. The Town is in the process of creating the water district and will undertake the construction of the improvements. The Town Board will act as the Lead Agency and is applying for funding assistance from the USDA Rural Development to undertake the project. As currently proposed, Water District No. 11 involves the installation of approximately 24,300 linear feet of 8 inch waterline along portions of South Centenary Road, Maple Ridge Road, Cheetham Road, DeFisher Road, Joy Road, Snyder Road and an un-named right-of-way. Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials and surface restoration. The project also includes an underground PRV (pressure-reducing valve) vault at the intersection of South Centenary and Morse Roads, as well as a chlorine booster station (anticipated to be a small pre-fabricated structure) at the west end of Cheetham Road. The purpose of the project is to address serious health and safety problems and ensure that residents of this area have a reliable supply of good quality water and fire protection.

The project is located along portions of South Centenary Road (County Road 230), Maple Ridge Road (County Road 232), Cheetham Road, DeFisher Road, Joy Road (County Road 229), Snyder Road and an un-named right-of-way in the Town of Sodus, New York.

Wayne County - The Town of Sodus, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Sodus South Geneva Road Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of plans for improvements for public water improvements within the proposed service area referred to as the South Geneva Road Water District. The Town is applying for funding assistance from the USDA Rural Development to undertake the project. The purpose of the project is to address serious health and safety problems and ensure that residents of this area have a reliable supply of good quality water and fire protection.

South Geneva Road Water District involves the installation of approximately 6,100 linear feet of waterline primarily along a portion of South Geneva Road. As currently proposed, the new watermain will connect with an existing watermain in the northwest portion of the intersection of South Geneva Road and Brick Church Road, and the alignment will continue on the west side of South Geneva Road. A short length of watermain (500 ± lineal feet) will also be located on Stell Road. Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials and surface restoration.

The project is located along portions of South Geneva Road (County Road 240) and Stell Road in the Town of Sodus, New York.

Ontario County - The Town of Victor Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gullace Property Residential Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed 2 acres annexation from the Town of Victor to the Village of Victor for 17 single family residential lots on 5.78 acres in the Village. In addition, 71 for sale townhouse units on 17.42 acres would be developed in the Town of Victor. The project is located at 995 Church Road 9, generally between Church Street/Victor Egypt Road and Lynaugh Road in the Town of Victor, New York.

Ontario County - The Town of Victor Town Board as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Victor Comprehensive Plan and the Adoption of the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the adoption of the Victor Comprehensive Plan, which was prepared pursuant to Section 272-a of New York State Town Law. The Town of Victor also anticipates the adoption of the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan, which is a component of the Comprehensive Plan. Finally, the Town proposes to undertake a subset of implementation activities called for in the Plans, namely all those accorded the highest priority and consequently recommended for implementation in Phase I. The project is located throughout the Town of Victor, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft GEIS and Public Hearing

Ontario County - The Town of Victor Town Board as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of the Victor Comprehensive Plan and the Adoption of the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on July 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY 14654. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until July 24, 2015. The Draft GEIS is available from the Victor Town Clerk's Office, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY 14654 and on line at: www.victorny.org.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Monroe County - Monroe County, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Mill Seat Landfill Expansion. The action involves the expansion of the existing 98.6 acre permitted footprint of the Mill Seat Landfill with an additional 118.3 acre expansion immediately south of the existing Mill Seat Landfill. The proposal also involves the addition of ancillary infrastructure, the abandonment of a portion of O'Brien and Brew Roads, a wetland mitigation area located south of Bovee Road in the Town of Riga and a stream mitigation area in the Village of Churchville. The project is located at 303 Brew Road in the Town of Riga, New York.
