Negative Declaration

Albany County - The City of Albany Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 833 Broadway Reuse Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to re-tenant 833 Broadway with the following tenants: Citizens Bank- 25,600 square feet, Maxirnus- 92,000 square feet and an unnamed tenant at 19,900 square feet. These tenants will require 753 available parking spaces. Private parking will be provided at 833 Broadway (366 spaces), portion of 45 Learned (122 spaces) and portion of 875 Broadway (17 spaces) for a total 505 spaces. If available, additional private parking will be sought on 46, 52 and 54 Colonie Street. The applicant has offered to restripe, for the City of Albany, the adjacent parking spaces on Broadway and North Lawrence Street to better define the existing public parking. These parking spaces would remain public parking not dedicated for sole use by the new tenants at 833 Broadway. The project is located at 833 Broadway and the vicinity in the City of Albany, New York.

Greene County - The Town of Catskill as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amending the Code of the Town of Catskill will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment of Chapters 87, 90 and 115; Building Code Administration, Unsafe Buildings, and Junk of the Code of the Town of Catskill to include a new section(s) stating if a fine is imposed and is not paid within thirty (30) days or other such time as established by a court of competent jurisdiction, said fine, after fifteen (15) days notification by first class and certified mail to the fine debtor at his/her last known address, will be assessed by the Town of Catskill as a lien against the fine debtor's real property and collected as an unpaid charge attributable to the real property. The project is located throughout the Town of Catskill, New York.

Schenectady County - The Town of Niskayuna Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 1769 Union Street - Special Use Permit and Site Plan Review will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the demolition 5 structures (3 on Union Street, 2 on Troy Place) in order to construct a new 3 story, 27,000 square foot medical office building on Union Street. The project was granted waivers by the Planning Board, variances by the Zoning Board, and issued a Special Use Permit by the Town board for medical offices. It was reviewed by the Conservation Advisory Council and given a negative declaration by the Town Board. The project is located at 1769, 1771 and 1775 Union Street and 2 and 4 Troy Place in the Town of Niskayuna, New York.
