Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Babylon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Oak Beach Water System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves combining 3 public water systems into one, creating an assessment area, constructing a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), pumps, backup power and a distribution system to 57 homes at Oak Beach. The project is located in Oak Beach, Town of Babylon, New York.

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 322 Ocean Road, LLC - Planned Residential Development (Cluster) Subdivision Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The action involves a 19.6008 acre property situated in the R-60 and located within the Agricultural Overlay District and NYS Archeological Sensitive Areas, located on the west side of Ocean Road. The final application consists of a Planned Residential Development (Cluster) plan with 5 lots on a 19.6008 acre parcel, and proposes a 7.73 acre or 336,600 square foot agricultural reserve, with Proposed Lot 1, a flag lot, to contain 58,000 square feet; Proposed Lot 2, a flag lot, contains 59,398 square feet; Proposed Lot 3, a flag lot, contains 65,642 square feet, Proposed Lot 4, a flag lot, contains 76,345 square feet; Proposed Lot 5, a flag lot, contains 257,800 square feet, with all 5 lots fronting on Ocean Road to be accessed via a common driveway and proposes a 25 foot wide planted buffer along the eastern property boundaries of Lots 1, 3 and 4. The project is located at 322 Ocean Road in the Hamlet of Bridgehampton, Town of Southampton, New York.
