Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Site Plan Review - Jewish Community Center Pool Complex Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 4,520 ± square foot pool house addition and reconfigured splash pad and pool layout at the west end of the Jewish Community Center campus on North French Road in the Town of Amherst, New York. The site is located adjacent to Ellicott Creek. The petitioner is the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, 2640 North Forest Road, Amherst, New York.

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of 51-151 Dann Road will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of 3.24 ± acres of land from General Business (GB) to Multi-Family Residential District Six (MFR-6) and combine it with the parcel adjacent to the east to construct a 52 unit apartment development. The subject property is located on the east side of Dann Road at its intersection with Smith Road in the Town of Amherst, New York. The property is located near NYS wetland CC-45 and the Ransom Creek floodway. The petitioner is Winmar Development Ltd., c/o Damon Morey LLP, 9276 Main Street, Clarence, NY 14031.

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of 370 Casey Road will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning the southerly 8.28 ± acres of 370 Casey Road (total 41± acres) from Suburban Agriculture (SA) to Multi-Family Residential District Four A (MFR-4A) of the Town of Amherst, New York. The property is located on the north side of Casey Road opposite the northerly terminus of Youngs Road. The rezoning would allow development of a 30 ± lot single-family subdivision. The site is adjacent to NYS wetlands.

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Telecommunication Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new Wireless Telecommunication Facility including the erection of a maximum 75 foot tall monopole with antennas and ground level equipment within a 100 foot by 100 foot lease parcel. These utilities are proposed on the Phoenix United Church of Christ parcel located on the north side of North French Road, 900 ± feet west of Lynette Lane in the Town of Amherst, New York. State wetlands are located within 100 feet. of the proposed site. The petitioner is Upstate Cellular Network, d/b/a Verizon Wireless, 175 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY, 14623.
