Project Description:

The applicant proposes to redevelop sections of the park. A limited amount of work will take place within the tidal wetlands adjacent area and coastal erosion hazard area, including: removal of 0.26 acres of existing impervious area, 183 cubic yards of filling, installation of new concrete pedestrian pathways and asphalt vehicular access road, removal and replacement of existing chain link fence and removal of guardrail.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
