The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from MCYC, LLC for a site known as the MCYC Property (Former Augsbury Tank Farm Site), site ID #C645052. This site is located in the City of Ogdensburg, within the County of St. Lawrence, and is located at 502-520 Riverside Avenue. Negative Declaration

St. Lawrence County - The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ogdensburg International Airport Runway 9-27 Extension and Associated Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of facilities suitable for operations by a Low Cost Carrier (LCC) at Ogdensburg International Airport in accordance with state and federal regulations and to provide sufficient terminal and parking services to efficiently and safely serve the LCC aircraft and passengers using the aircraft and comply with local health and safety standards. The Proposed Action includes a 1,200 foot extension of Runway 9-27 to accommodate operations by A320 aircraft, extension of the existing parallel taxiway to the new runway end and widened for its entire length from its current 40 foot width to 50 foot, relocation of the approach light systems serving the Runway 27 approach to the new runway end, installation of Runway End Identifier Lights (REIL) on the Runway 27 end to provide identification of the end of the runway, relocation of NYS Route 68 around the extended runway end, obstruction (tree) removal on airport property to provide an unobstructed Approach Surface for a non-precision approach procedure to Runway 27, and relocation of Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI). The project is located at 5840 State Highway 812 in the Town of Oswegatchie, New York.
