Public Notice

CWM Chemical Services, LLC facility is located in the Town of Porter, Niagara County. The facility provides aqueous treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial wastes generated off site, contaminated groundwater generated onsite, and landfill leachate generated onsite.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) pursued a Department Initiated Modification and renewal to SPDES NY0072061 pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 750-1-18, NYS DEC's Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy.

Cattaraugus County - The Town of Randolph, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Randolph Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of new water meters; distribution / transmission improvements; pumping and treatment improvements; water tank repair and improvement; decommissioning of certain springs and / or wells; development of new ell sources and construction of new treatment buildings and equipment. The project is located throughout the Town of Randolph, New York.

Erie County - The Marilla Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law 2-2015 Bio-Solids Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed enactment of a Local Law regulating how Bio-Solids are digested in facilities, stored in facilities and applied to the land in the Town of Marilla. The purpose is to regulate such activity so that contamination of the soil, water, groundwater, creeks, streams and the air does not occur or is minimized. Prevention or elimination of such risk by comprehensive legislation by its very nature works to ensure that significant environmental impacts do not occur from these activities. The project is located throughout the Town of Marilla, New York.
