Project Description:

Applicant proposes to dredge an existing .42 acre marina using an excavator operated from the the shore. Approximately 750 cubic yards of sediment will be removed and stockpiled on site. The dredged materials will be secured with silt fencing to prevent spoils or turbidity from reentering the water. Proposed docking facility for the marina will include 15, 20 foot long docks supported on open piles driven approximately 12 inches into the lake bed. A turbidity curtain will be placed across the mouth of the marina to prevent any siltation in the lake. The project location in on Oneida Lake's south shore in the town of Cicero.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

Applicant proposes to conduct routine inspection and repair to an existing gas pipeline located in NYS Freshwater Wetland JOR-10, north side of Peru Road, .5 miles east of Mechanic St. in the town of Elbridge. A temporary mat bridge will be used to access the project site from Peru Road. The project will temporarily impact 5,577 square feet of Freshwater Wetland. Excavation of the pipeline will be accomplished by mechanical methods, all disturbed areas will be stabilized and erosion and sediment controls will be in place. Disturbed areas to be returned to pre-existing conditions upon completion.
