Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Tonawanda, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lincoln Park Rain Garden and Multi Use Path will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 7,800 foot long multi-use path and strategically placed rain garden to help catch the run off. The project is located in Lincoln Park on Decatur Road in the Town of Tonawanda, New York.

Niagara County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Niagara Falls State Park Police Station will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves NYS OPRHP plans to construct a new Niagara Falls Park Police Station to relocate the State Park Police from their current location at the Cave of the Winds Plaza to a more central location and provide more up to date facilities. The new 9,081 square foot building and associated parking will be constructed at 555 Whirlpool Street on a vacant parcel of land owned by the New York Power Authority (NYPA) and across the Robert Moses Parkway from the Discovery Center. NYS OPRHP will operate the new station under a Land Use Permit with NYPA. The project is located at 555 Whirlpool Street in Niagara Falls, New York.
