Public Notice

Pursuant to Title 3, Article 49 of the Environmental Conservation Law, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP) hereby gives public notice of the following:

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 49-0305 (9) of the Environmental Conservation Law, of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation's intent to acquire a Conservation Easement from Edgar M. Masters over certain lands located at 206 High Valley Road, Copake Falls, in the County of Columbia and the State of New York.

Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Town of Berne Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Helderberg Bluestone and Marble, Inc. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a request by the applicant for a special use permit for a working quarry permitted and re-permitted by the Town of Berne and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) with special conditions and periodic inspections. The project is located on Grippy Lane in East Berne, Town of Berne, New York.

Montgomery County - The Village Board of the Village of Fort Plain, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Inflow and Infiltration Remediation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed inflow and infiltration remediation project includes installing a PVC liner using a trenchless method in approximately 6,275 linear feet of existing old clay sewer mains, associated sewer lateral reinstatements, and 26 old brick manholes will be replaced with new watertight precast concrete manholes. Limited open cut sewer main replacement will occur on sections of sewer mains that cannot be lined due to their poor condition. The project is located in the Village of Fort Plain, New York.
