The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Petition to delist a portion of the Emerson Street Dump in the New York State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Site. The site is located on Emerson Street in the City of Rochester, Monroe County.

Former Hampshire Chemical Corp. - SWMU 1 - Former Waterloo Landfill Corrective Measures in Waterloo, New York

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has proposed corrective measures for the remediation of SWMU 1 - Former Waterloo Landfill at the Former Hampshire Chemical Corp., Waterloo, New York. This proposal is discussed in detail in NYSDEC's draft Statement of Basis.

Written Comment Period: NYS DEC will accept written comments from the public on the proposed remedy during a 45 calendar day comment period beginning Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Comments must be submitted no later than Saturday, March 28, 2015. Negative Declaration

Livingston County - The Village of Geneseo Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Geneseo Main Street Rehabilitation Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 8 inch diameter water main with new 12 inch diameter water main along Main Street. The project also includes replacement of approximately 230 linear feet of water main with new 4, 6, and 8 inch water main along Court Street. Water main construction includes hydrants, valves, other water main appurtenances, and the restoration of pavement and turf areas. Water main construction will also include the installation of a 4 inch water meter pit and the directional drilling approximately 115 linear feet of 8 inch HDPE water main across South Street (NYS Route 20A). The project includes the installation of approximately 285 linear feet of 10 inch SDR-35 sanitary sewer along Main Street which includes the installation of 4 manholes, abandonment of existing sewer, and pavement and turf restoration. Finally, the project will also include the completion of Main Street rehabilitation of approximately 9,400 square yards of milling and resurfacing, pavement striping, approximately 1,750 linear feet of concrete curb replacement, replacement of storm drainage structures, and associated driveway apron replacement and turf restoration. The project is located in the Village of Geneseo, New York.

Schuyler County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of Watkins Glen, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Project Seneca Regional Wastewater Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a regional wastewater treatment facility in the Village of Watkins Glen on New York State Canal Corporation's historical Upland Disposal Site 6-25-H along the Barge Canal south of Clute Park. The project also entails the decommissioning of the existing Villages of Watkins Glen and Montour Falls wastewater treatment plant. The project is located at the Upland Disposal Site 6-25-H in the Village of Watkins Glen, New York.
