Notice of Final Request for Proposals for Transportation and Disposal of Solid Waste Greene County, New York

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to General Municipal Law §120-w, Columbia County Solid Waste Management is issuing a Final Request for Proposals (RFP) for Transportation and Disposal of solid waste from the County's Greenport Transfer Station, beginning June 1, 2015. The selected Contractor(s) will be required to furnish all labor, materials and equipment as detailed in the RFP.

Copies of the RFP may be obtained at the office of Columbia County Solid Waste Management from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning February 9, 2015.

Responses to the RFP will be received at the office of Columbia County Central Services, 401 State Street, Hudson, New York 12534 until 3:00 p.m. March 9, 2015.

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed D&M Sand and Gravel will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the modification of an existing Mined Land Reclamation permit to increase the previously approved rate of production. The project is located on Watson Road, Town of Berlin, Rensselaer County, New York.
