Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Village of Rhinebeck Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Kirchhoff Medical Properties on behalf of Northern Dutchess Hospital will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a three story, approximately 87,050 square foot addition, with accessory parking and related improvements to be located on the existing 20.3 acre campus of Northern Dutchess Hospital (Hospital). The Hospital is an existing special permit use on a developed site within the R (residential) zoning district The proposed project includes the demolition of the existing Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation Building (Stone House), a 500 square foot garage, and a 540 square foot small addition on an existing building, as well as placement of new privacy fencing, substantial new landscaping, plantings and pedestrian sidewalks along Route 9 and Montgomery Street. The proposed action will also eliminate an existing paved access drive at the southwest comer of the site at the Intersection of Route 9 and Montgomery Street and establish a landscaped and planted area at the intersection to replace the blacktop. The new addition will include approximately 50,595 square foot of new hospital space, 25,125 square foot of new hospital/medical office space and 11,330 square foot of ancillary and corridor connection areas. The project is located at 6511 Springbrook Avenue (US Route 9), 95-99 Montgomery Street, and a portion of 107 and 109 Montgomery Street and 6525 Sprongbrook Avenue for parking in the Village of Rhinebeck, New York.

Westchester County - The Yorktown Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Creative Living Development Inc will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to install an air-supported dome over the southern baseball field close to Navajo Street, and associated improvements. At this time the applicant has established this site as a private recreational facility as authorized by §300-21c(1)(a)[5]. The proposed dome will house regulation size athletic fields/courts for either baseball or a combination of football, soccer, or lacrosse. The project is located at 300 Navajo Street in Jefferson Valley, Town of Yorktown, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Westchester County - The Village of Ossining Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Victoria Home may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on December 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the John Paul Rodrigues Ossining Operations Center, 101 Route 9A, Ossining, NY 10562. The action involves the construction of two new buildings containing 96 units (nursing home) and the demolition of the existing building. The project is located at 25 North Malcolm Street in the Village of Ossining, New York.
