Nassau County - The Nassau County Legislature, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Nassau County Bond Ordinance for Superstorm Sandy Repair and Mitigation: Bay Park Sewage Treatment Plant will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the approval of a bond ordinance, in the amount of Four Hundred, Sixty-Three Million, Seven Hundred Twenty Six Thousand, Two Hundred Twenty-One ($463,726,221.00) dollars to finance capital expenditure for six projects critical to the operation and restoration of the Nassau County's wastewater infrastructure. Projects will repair damages resulting from Superstorm Sandy and provide future storm mitigation and hardening to the Bay Park Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), sanitary sewage pump stations and the wastewater collection system. Critical projects under consideration for funding include:
- Bay Park STP Sludge Dewatering Facility Repair and Mitigation;
- Bay Park STP Electrical Distribution System Flood Repair and Mitigation;
- Bay Park STP Harden Critical Tier I Facilities;
- Bay Park Perimeter Flood Protection;
- Barnes Avenue Storm Sewer Overflow (SSO) Correction; and
- Pump Station Repair.
The Bay Park Sewage Treatment Plant, is located at the end of 4th Avenue in East Rockaway, New York and the various sewage pump stations are located on the north and south shore; and in the vicinity of Barnes Avenue in Baldwin, New York.

Nassau County - The Village of Sea Cliff Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Proposed Automobile Body Repair Shop and Car Dealership may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the application for use variance in connection with proposed automobile body repair shop and car sales. The project is located at 270 Glen Cove Avenue in the Village of Sea Cliff, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Port Jefferson Residences may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until December 31, 2013. A public scoping session will be held on December 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Port Jefferson Village Hall, 2nd Floor Courtroom, 121 West Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. The Scoping document is available from the Village of Port Jefferson Planning Department, 88 North Country Road, Port Jefferson, NY 11777; the Port Jefferson Free Library, 100 Thompson St, Port Jefferson, NY 11777 and on line at: www.portjeff.com.
The action involves the a proposal by the applicant, Tritec Real Estate Co, for the development of a 3 ½ story, 112 unit apartment complex with 178 underground parking spaces and a bridge crossing Mill Creek on 3.74 acres of land zoned Central Commercial C-1 and Residential RB-2. The project is located at 201 West Broadway in the Village of Port Jefferson, New York.
