Erie County - The Town of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Stormwater Lift Station and Force Main will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. It includes construction of a lift station at the Bramblewood Lane northerly stub, along with a force main from the lift station easterly to Gott Creek, a distance of 740 ± linear feet. The stormwater will discharge into the creek where it will continue flowing without backing up the drainage system in The Pines and Pines East Subdivisions, thereby reducing the flooding problems in this area.

This project is a Type I action pursuant to Part 617.2 of Article 8 (State Environmental Quality Review) of the Environmental Conservation Law and Local Law 3-1982, due to its proximity to Gott Creek.
