Project Description: The action involves construction of a four foot wide by 116 foot long boardwalk along an existing mowed path to access the shoreline of Brant Lake. The boardwalk will cross jurisdictional wetlands. The Town of Horicon administers an Adirondack Park Agency-approved local land use program and administers shoreline setback regulations. Adirondack Park Agency approval is required for projects involving wetlands.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Town of Moreau, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NRP Group, Sisson Reserve Multifamily Development - Phase II - Site Plan Review will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to develop the parcel into a multifamily residential apartment project. The proposed project is an extension of the previously approved Sisson Reserve project which includes 80 units and is completed. Phase ll proposes to add 13 apartment buildings which would include 64 total units. The project is located on the west side of Sisson Reserve Road in the Town of Moreau, New York.

Saratoga County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Modification of Hudson Valley Sand and Stone's Moreau Bank Mined Land Use Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to modify their Mined Land Use Plan to allow excavation to a lower elevation within their current Life of Mine. The area to be lowered encompasses approximately 45 acres and will be reclaimed as a pond upon final reclamation of the site. The pond will be excavated to an elevation of 265 feet which is approximately 40 feet below the current water table. The project is located on Route 9 in the Town of Moreau, New York.
