ENB - Region 4 Notices 9/11/2013

Negative Declaration

Schoharie County - The Town of Blenheim, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cole Hollow Road Realignment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Due to recent flooding events, the slope adjacent to a portion of Cole Hollow Road has become eroded and the stability of the road is at risk. The action involves the relocation of a portion of Cole Hollow Road to a location away from the unstable slope to maintain public safety. This portion of Cole Hollow Road will be relocated to an area which is currently comprised of woods and an open field. The Town will be purchasing the property for the proposed realignment from various adjacent property owners. A portion of the existing road will remain as driveway access for one property owner while the remaining will be scarified and seeded with grass. The project is located on Cole Hollow Road in the Town of Blenheim, New York.
