Positive Declaration and Public Scoping Written Comment Period
Westchester County - The White Plains Common Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Amendment for 60 South Broadway may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted by the White Plains City Clerk, City Hall, 255 Main Street, White Plains, NY 10601 until September 27, 2013.
The action involves a request by Urstadt Biddle Properties, Inc., the owner of the development known as The Westchester Pavilion, for an amendment to the White Plains Zoning Ordinance to change zoning designation for the premises from B-6 (Enclose Mall ) to CB-3 (Core Business) and extend the boundary of the Central Parking Area to include the premises. The project is located at 60 South Broadway, at the intersection South Broadway ( State Route 22) and Maple Avenue, in the City of White Plains, New York.
