The amount of waste accepted and transferred from the facility will increase from 220,000 gallons/year to 2.5 million gallons/year. Waste is collected from off-site. On-site operations involve thermal processing which results in the separation of water from the grease. The water is discharged to the municipal sanitary sewer and the grease is then shipped to off-site processing facilities. On-site storage is presently limited to no more than 5,000 gallons and (50) fifty-five gallon drums at any one time. These limits will remain in place.
