ENB - Region 8 Notices 9/4/2013

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Irondequoit Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Irondequoit 2013 Library Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new library building on the east lawn of the Town Hall Campus. The building is anticipated to be approximately 50,000 square feet in size and will be two (2) stories. The construction will include related infrastructure including driveway, parking, storm-water management facilities and connection to existing public utilities. Two existing libraries· the Evans Branch and McGraw Branch - will be closed. The site of the Evans Branch will revert to the West Irondequoit School District. The McGraw Branch is currently owned by the Town of Irondequoit and is likely to be declared surplus and sold pursuant to the process set forth in the Town Law. The project is located at 1280 Titus Avenue in Rochester, New York.
