Negative Declaration

Putnam County - The Town of Patterson Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law #5, Signs will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law regulating signs placed in the Town of Patterson. The amendments provide regulations for the placement of temporary signs such as tag sale signs, special event signs and political signs. The project is located throughout the Town of Patterson, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Rockland County - The Haverstraw Village Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Discontinuance of Short Clove Road and Related Land Use and Zoning Actions. The Final EIS is available from the Village of Haverstraw's Village Clerk Office; the Village of Haverstraw Branch of King's Daughters Public Library, 85 Main Street, Haverstraw, NY and on line at: www.villageofhaverstraw.com.

The action involves the discontinuance of Short Clove Road as a Village Street, the relocation of the boundary of the Mountain Protection Overlay (MPO) District, an amendment of the Village of Haverstraw Zoning Law to include a PI-2 zoning district and the amending of the zoning map to rezone the project site to this new designation, the amendment to the Village's Waterfront Urban Renewal Plan to make consistent with these changes and amendment of the Village's Master Plan to make it consistent with these changes. The project is located on Short Clove Rd and land surrounding the New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) acquisition, between the Hudson River and US Route 9W in the Village of Haverstraw, New York.
