Regulated tidal wetlands exist on the property; however, the upland portion of the property is likely beyond NYSDEC's tidal wetland jurisdiction. The purpose of the project is to provide two lots for residential development. Project Description:

The Department has prepared a draft permit and has made a tentative determination to issue a renewal of the existing Title V permit for this facility. The Holtsville Terminal is a bulk petroleum storage and distribution facility; which includes above ground petroleum liquids storage tanks, truck loading bays, and petroleum vapor recovery units. Operations at the terminal consist of the receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products.

In accordance with 6NYCRR Parts 621.7(b)(9) and 201-6.3(c), the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has the authority to bar issuance of any Title V Facility Permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6NYCRR Part 201.

Persons wishing to inspect the subject Title V files, including the application with all relevant supporting materials, the draft permit, and all other materials available to the DEC (the "permitting authority") that are relevant to this permitting decision should contact the DEC representative listed below. DEC will evaluate the application and the comments received on it to determine whether to hold a public hearing. Project Description:

The Department has prepared a draft permit and made a tentative determination to approve the applicant's request to to modify the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit by removing the pH limit for outfall 23. The draft permit also corrects the wastewater type for outfall 12, includes updated general conditions as per 6 NYCRR Part 750, and a copy can be obtained by contacting the person listed below.

The Caithness Long Island Energy Center is a nominal 346 megawatt (MW), dual fuel, combined-cycle electric generating station consisting of one Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation 501F combustion turbine generator (CTG), a heat recovery steam generator equipped with natural gas-fired duct burners, and a single steam turbine.
