Project Description:

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for re-issuance of a permit for an existing discharge of 2,610 gallons per day of treated, sanitary, laundry wastewater into unnamed tributary of Cayuga Inlet, Water Index Number: ONT-66-12-P296-75, a Class C(T) waterbody, from an onsite sewage and sand filter treatment system at the applicant's facility, Youngs Convenience Store, located at 1253 West Danby Road, Town of Newfield, Tompkins County. Refer to this application by DEC ID Number 7-5034-00007/00003, SPDES Number NY 028 4076.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

Project is not subject to SEQR because it is a Type II action.

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
