Project Description:

Installation of approximately 1,356 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer pipe from the south side of the Capital Cities Imported Cars, Inc. building on State Route 9W to an existing Town manhole (MH2A) on Journey Lane. The purpose of the project is to connect Capital Cities to the municipal wastewater collection and treatment system. The installation of the gravity sewer pipe will result in impacts to approximately 0.35 acres of Freshwater Wetland D-60 and 0.32 acres of regulated adjacent area.

A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

A Draft SPDES permit has been prepared and is available for review.
