Tompkins County - The City of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Harold's Square Mixed Use Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to develop a 140 foot tall, 11 story, mixed-use building of approximately 132,000 gross square feet. The project will include one story (11,000 square feet) of ground-floor retail, three stories (41,200 square feet) of upper-story office, and six stories of residential (up to 36 units). The residential portion of the project is in a tower, set back 62 feet from the building's four story Commons façade. The building will have two main entrances, one on the Commons and one facing Green Street, with an atrium linking the two streets. The project is located at 123-139 East State Street (the Commons) in the City of Ithaca, New York.

Tompkins County - The Dormitory Authority State of New York, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed George Junior Republic UFSD Revenue Bonds, Series 2013 (Classroom Additions and Renovations Project) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Dormitory Authority State of New York's (DASNY) authorization of the issuance of bonds on behalf of the George Junior Republic Union Free School District through the Special Act School Districts Program. The proceeds of the bond issuance would be used to finance the Proposed Project, which would consist of renovations and additions to existing buildings on the School District's campus located at 24 McDonald Road in the Village of Freeville, New York.
The proposed project would involve renovations to the 42,342 gross square foot Boscowitz Gymnasium, renovations to approximately 2,385 gross square foot of classroom space in the Lower School building, and minor repairs and maintenance to the approximately 9,380 gross square foot Upper School building. The Proposed Project would also involve the construction of a new approximately 150 gross square foot elevator and elevator machine room in Boscowitz Gymnasium and the construction of approximately 13,447 gross square foot of additional classroom and multipurpose room space in the Lower School building. Approximately 28,600 square feet of existing walkways, driveways, and a parking area would be removed and a new approximately 21,900 square feet parking area addition and approximately 26,000 square feet of new and replacement driveways would also be part of the Proposed Project.
