The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Petition for the delisting or reclassification of the South Shore Outdoor Site, from a Class 2 to a Class C or a Class 2 to a Class 3 in the New York State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Site. The site is located at 1760 5th Avenue in Bay Shore, New York, Suffolk County.
