The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Seneca County - The Town of Waterloo Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water System Improvements Area and Watermain Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Town of Waterloo Town Board, after a coordinated review, determined on May 27, 2010 that the proposed Establishment of Water Improvement Area and Construction of Water Improvements Project would not have any significant, adverse impact on the environment, and thereby granted a negative declaration in conformance with SEQRA. In 2012, the Town of Waterloo made changes to the project resulting in a smaller project area. It was determined that based on the project changes which resulted in a decrease to the impacts on the environment; SEQR did not need to be revisited. Since then, the Water Improvements Area has been revised to include additional properties. Please note even though the project area is expanding, no additional watermain is being proposed. The project is located on Reed Road, Hecker Road, NYS Route 96, and Mills Road within the Town of Waterloo, New York.
