The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Huntington Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town Participation in the Acquisition of the Williams Property will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the shared open space acquisition of a 27.18 acre parcel to be purchased by the Town of Huntington, County of Suffolk, and North Shore Land Alliance as passive parkland. The Williams property is identified in the Town of Huntington Open Space Index, thus is considered designated open space. An adjoining 4.01 parcel is to be acquired by the North Shore Land Alliance, a private land trust. A 0.21 acre right-of-way parcel that adjoins the shared acquisition parcel will be deeded to the Town of Huntington consistent with a prior filed subdivision map. The project is located on the easterly side of Shore Road in Cold Spring Harbor, Town of Huntington, New York.
